Housekeeping
Your room will be serviced daily, except on public holidays, with bins emptied as part of the service. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please place the “Do Not Disturb” door hanger on your door.
During public holiday periods such as Easter, Christmas, and New Year, housekeeping services may be limited. Additional towels and amenities can be requested if required.

Check-out
Please ensure that your unit is completely vacated by 10 AM on the morning of your departure unless prior arrangements have been made. Late check out may be possible, please contact the office the day before and we will do our best to accommodate your request. If you are departing before the office opens, please ensure settlement of your account the day before. Please return your key to the reception or drop into the black key drop box on the pillar by the office.

Wi-Fi
We provide free, unlimited Wi-Fi to your room. Our Ubiquiti stations are located throughout the building that allow for faster download and upload speeds to maximise the use of our fibre connection.

Luggage storage
Luggage storage in our garage is available on request. If you require assistance with luggage, please contact the office.

Bikes
Mountain bikes, helmets, and locks are available for hire, subject to availability. All bicycles must be signed in and out, and returned at the office, and helmets must be worn at all times.
The hire fee is $25 per person, per day. Bookings can be made at the office, and completion of a waiver agreement is required prior to hire.

Breakfast
Breakfast is available upon request and delivered directly to your room for $20 per person. Service is available from 7:30 AM onwards. Please place your order before 5:00 PM the day prior.
Menu items may vary depending on seasonal availability.

We accept Visa & MasterCard, a 1.6% surcharge will be applied.

EV Charging
It is possible to charge an electronic vehicle on site.
The cost is $15 per charge.

Environmental Focus
At Chelsea Park we are cognisant of the impact we have on the environment and work hard to minimise that where possible. Our ethos is to refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle. We are working on becoming carbon neutral and as such are rolling out changes in the operation of our business; moving away from single use plastics is an example of this.
We are part of Nelson’s recycling programme. Please keep all recyclable items separate from rubbish for collection during the daily servicing of rooms.
We reuse our own glass milk bottles, which are sanitised and filled freshly for you.
We encourage energy conservation primarily by asking guests to be aware of energy conservation and environmental issues. Ways to improve energy efficiency include but are not limited to:
- Turn off lights, heaters, heated towel rails, television and radio when rooms are unoccupied
- Pull drapes to retain heat as the outside temperature drops
- Report any equipment in need of repair (e.g. leaking taps).

Please note: This property is pet-free complex.

Keys
Your room key is your responsibility during your stay. Please advise in the event of any lost keys. There is a charge of $30 for lost keys.

Guest Laundry
The laundry room is located on the ground floor between the office and room number 1. It is available from 12 noon – 8pm daily. The cost is $5 per wash (detergent included) and $5 for the drier or you can use the outside line at the end of the carpark, pegs are available from the office. Iron and ironing boards are provided and stored in the wardrobes in each room.

Loss & Damage
Guests will be responsible for any damage to the room, furnishings and fixtures. We are unable to accept responsibility for any damage or theft to guest’s personal belongings including motor vehicles’ damage and contents.

Lost Property
Any lost property will be held for 3 months. We recommend checking your unit thoroughly prior to departure.

Visitors
The registered guest is responsible for all visitors while on the property. You are welcome to have visitors but we ask that they depart quietly by 10pm.
ROOM & EQUIPMENTS
We offer a wide range of services designed to make your stay unique and pleasurable.
We have Sky Guest Select with a decoder in every room – SKY SPORTS AND Basic Sky Channels are provided.
- To turn the TV on, push the ‘Power On’ button on the Sky remote.
- To select the TV channel you want to watch use the SKY remote. Point it at the SKY decoder, not the television.
If TV is showing no channels, press AV on the Sky remote and select HDMI1 (sky). Continue to press the AV button to the required option.
Please note that we do not have Netflix, you can sign into your own account if able to.

Emergency Procedures
For Emergency Operator dial 111. The emergency operator will ask which service you require (Fire, Ambulance, Police). Please report all emergencies to the office.

Fire
A fire escape map is located on the rear of your guest room door. If evacuation is required, please proceed quickly and calmly to the nearest exit and assemble outside the office. All guests need to be accounted for.

The nearest airport is Nelson Airport, which is located about 7.5km away and approximately 15-minute drive from Chelsea Park Motor Lodge.

The following banks are located on Trafalgar Street: ASB, ANZ, BNZ, NBS, SBS, Kiwibank, Westpac and The Co-operative Bank.
Trafalgar Street is approximately 750m away and is walkable in around 10 minutes. Directions: Take a left out of the driveway, continue down Rutherford Street to the first set of lights and turn right into Selwyn Place. Continue straight and your second left is Trafalgar Street.
